First time DSLR buyer advice?

So, Ive been considering getting a DSLR, and my choices have been narrowed down to these four.

Sony A330

Canon XSI

Pentax K-x

Nikon D3000

I’m looking for an "entry level" SLR, but one that I wont grow out of in the near future. I shoot almost all types of subjects, so versatility is a big factor. Lens choice is not as important. What do you recommend, especially if you have used one of these cameras in the past? Thanks!

what is a good dslr for night shooting?

I’ve been using point and shoot cameras for few years.
I’m thinking of getting a entry level DSLR to mostly shoot night scenes.

These are the models I have in mind,

Pentax K x, Sony Alpha a330, Nikon D3000, and Canon Rebel XS

If I can get Sony Alpha a230 for under 0 is it a good deal? (body + 18-55 lens)

Entry-level DSLR for airshows?

I plan to get a new DSLR camera, but I want to save as much money as I can. The Canon XS, Nikon D3000, and Sony A330 are all in the same family and cost about the same amount. But since I do quite a lot of aviation photography, I will also need a 70-300mm lens in addition to the kit one. I know Canon and Nikon have the best image quality, but I can’t pay 0 for the additional lens. So even though it comes third in the camera world, would it still be the smartest move to go with the Sony since it has image stabilization built in and I wouldn’t need to pay for it in the lens? Any insight about how big of a difference IS actually makes would be greatly appreciated.

Need help choosing Entry level photography camera?

I’m between Sony A330 (18-55 lens & 55-200, 4GB card) 9
Canon Cybershot sx90 9
Nikon P100 for 9
Nikon P90 9

I’ll probably stay at a fairly basic photography level… just a side interest I want to get into. Any help deciding would be great. I’m just confused if a SLR would be sufficient or should I just spent the extra 0 something for a DSLR
What order would you rate those cameras?
